party? Answer: Yes, if you plan on
treating yourself later, start your day
with a small meal that includes fruit,
nuts or vegetables and protein.

before the party, can I eat more at
the party? Answer: No, do not
starve yourself. You need to eat a
small, lower-calorie meal or snack so
you are not tempted to overdo your
calorie intake for the day and be sure to have
plenty of water before-hand.
3. How can I avoid all the tasty treats at the
holiday parties? Answer: Bring your own healthy
appetizer or snack. This way you are not only
keeping yourself healthy with your own delicious
snack but bringing something to the party as well.
4.What is a good way to avoid
overeating during the holidays?
Answer: Move your socializing. Keep
yourself away from the buffet or
dinner tables, except when it is time
to eat. When you move your socializing
elsewhere so you are not unconsciously
nibbling away at food you do
not actually need.
5. Question: How can I watch my
calories with alcohol? Answer: Be
careful with the alcohol intake.Start
with a calorie-free nonalcoholic
beverage. Satisfy your thirst before
you have an alcoholic drink. Try a
sparkling water with a lime. This will help you not
to overindulge on the alcohol and keep your
calorie intake low.
