RECIPE OF THE MONTH


Quinoa Porridge

Ingredients:

1/3 cup quinoa

1/4 cup macadamia nuts

2 cups water

1 teaspoon vanilla

1/4 teaspoon sea salt

cinnamon stick, optional

1 tablespoon honey or substitute agave nectar to make recipe yeast free


 

Directions:

In a blender, blend nuts with water on high for two minutes. Add nut milk to pan with remaining ingredients. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat to medium. Simmer for 45 minutes. Serves 3-4
